What do we do at Elevate ?
Elevate is a welcoming and supportive programme designed for young people who benefit from a smaller learning environment and a more personalised approach to education.
Our E3 Personal Growth and Wellbeing programme helps learners build confidence, develop new skills and prepare for their next steps in learning, work and life. Learning is adapted to each young person's individual needs, interests and aspirations, with a focus on helping them feel successful and proud of their achievements.
Alongside classroom-based learning, learners have opportunities to develop important life and independence skills through practical activities. These may include cooking, gardening, budgeting, planning, communication and working as part of a team. These experiences help learners develop skills that they can use both in their everyday lives and as they move towards adulthood.
Our aim is to create a positive learning experience where every young person feels valued, listened to and supported to grow at their own pace.
Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this programme, but learners should be in receipt of an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP).
The programme is designed to support young people with a range of individual needs and abilities. We take the time to understand each learner and work with them to identify the right support and opportunities to help them thrive.
Where could I progress to?
At Project Challenge, learners can progress from Elevate onto one of our Level 1 programmes, such as Sport or Public Services, where appropriate.
Learners may also choose to progress to other Level 1 courses or explore other pathways that match their individual interests, strengths and future aspirations.
Our goal is to help every learner take their next step with greater confidence, independence and a stronger sense of what they can achieve.
